About this course

Baby crested geckos and baby leopard geckos look similar, but they need very different homes. This course covers both. You will learn how to mix and feed complete gecko diet to baby cresteds, set up vertical misting and vertical nurseries, and build dry desert nurseries with humid hides for leopard geckos. You will learn which flooring is safe, how to feed and dust for each species, and how to choose UVB lighting. Just as important, you will learn why geckos drop their tails, how to handle babies so they do not, and what to do if one does. You will also learn how to stop tail-nipping between siblings, prevent stuck sheds, work with your exotic vet on parasite checks, and move growing geckos into permanent tanks.
