This course walks you through the basics of their biology and then through the big three: metabolic bone disease, toe loss from stuck shed, and sibling bullying. You will learn how to choose and place UVB lighting, how to plan calcium and vitamin D3 supplements, how to spot early warning signs, and how to choose safe flooring. You will learn how to separate bullied or competing babies, set up basking zones and humid burrows, balance insects and greens as they grow, and work with your exotic vet on checks and parasite testing. You will also learn gentle handling, first aid for overheating and bite injuries, and how to move young lizards into permanent tanks.
