Liability Waiver & Disclaimer

1. Nature of the Content
The courses, lessons, guides, videos, written materials, and any other content provided by Chaos to Calm Pets (collectively, "the Content") are intended solely as general educational guidelines for pet owners. The Content reflects general behavioral principles and best practices observed across many animals; it does not constitute professional veterinary advice, certified animal behavior consultation, or a guarantee of any specific outcome.
2. No Guarantee of Results
Every animal is an individual. Behavior is influenced by genetics, health status, prior history, environment, and countless other variables that cannot be assessed remotely. Chaos to Calm Pets makes no warranty, express or implied, that any technique, protocol, or recommendation contained in the Content will produce any particular result for your specific animals. Results will vary. Some animals may not respond to the approaches described, and some multi-species households may not achieve peaceful coexistence regardless of the effort applied.
3. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and agree that working with animals — including your own pets — carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, injuries to people, injuries to animals, property damage, and death of an animal. These risks exist even when all recommended precautions are followed. By accessing the Content, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Chaos to Calm Pets, its owner Paola, its instructors, affiliates, agents, and successors from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses — including attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to any injury, property damage, failure of the Content to produce a desired outcome, or reliance on the Content in place of professional consultation.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Content, your violation of these terms, or your application of any technique or recommendation to your animals.
6. Consult a Professional
Nothing in the Content replaces the advice of a licensed veterinarian or a certified applied animal behaviorist. If your animal displays aggression, illness, extreme fear, or any behavior that poses an immediate safety risk, please consult a qualified professional before attempting any behavioral intervention.
7. Governing Law
This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
8. Severability
If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
9. Entire Agreement
This waiver, together with the Chaos to Calm Pets Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Chaos to Calm Pets with respect to liability for the Content.
